CompareMage is a comparison-utility website. This policy describes the launch site that exists today, not features that have not shipped.

Comparison processing

Public launch comparisons calculate in your browser from the numbers you type. CompareMage does not upload those values to our servers as part of a tool’s normal operation. We do not log salaries, loan balances, home prices, employer offer details, or other comparison inputs.

If you copy a result, take a screenshot, or open an email draft from the contact page, that action happens on your device. Browser extensions, employer-managed computers, or your email provider can still see what you choose to share. We do not claim that no software on your computer can ever read the page.

Local storage

Launch comparisons do not write salaries or loan figures to localStorage. If a later tool offers an optional on-device draft, that choice will be documented on the page and in an updated policy.

What we do not collect on launch tools

Hosting and future advertising

Website files are served by whatever host we use in production. Hosts typically see standard request logs such as IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. Those logs are not the numbers you type into a comparison.

CompareMage is designed so Google AdSense can be added later. Ads are not installed on this launch build. If advertising is enabled later, this policy will be updated before ads load, because ad partners typically set cookies and collect device data.
